Albert Uderzo, co-creator of French comics series Asterix, dies at 92 squib

Albert Uderzo, who co-created with René Goscinny the diminutive, blond-haired warrior Asterix the Gaul, one of the world's most recognizable and beloved cartoon characters, died March 24, in the Paris. The universe they created buried themselves in the heart of the French, who described them as "like us, exasperating but endearing. Asterix is our ego."
