Mark Riordan, who loved Elvis and Christmas and ‘gave a hearty hug,’ dies from complications of COVID-19 squib

Mark Riordan, who had Down syndrome and needed full-time care, idolized Elvis Presley and loved family, ferries, pizza, baseball cards and everything about Christmas. Mr. Riordan died April 24 in Tacoma at age 69. This story is part of our Lives Remembered series, highlighting Washingtonians lost to COVID-19.
